Destination Wednesdays - #3 Maroon Bells, Colorado

This week’s *Destination Wednesdays* is one of the most beautiful places that we’ve seen here in Colorado.

Maroon Bells is the most photographed place in Colorado (from what we’ve heard). It’s just outside of Aspen so while you’re exploring the ski town in the summer time make sure to head just around the mountain.

We suggest adding this to the list since you have the option to hike up or you can take a shuttle most of the way up. This lake is beautiful but it’s the ridged peak that rises from the trees that is truly stunning. The snow accentuates the ridges and the yellow aspens in fall make it look like it’s straight out of a fairy tale.
